The Skin I Live In
A meeting between SABA and ALYSI.
A project by Studiopepe, in collaboration with Around Studio.
The skin that wraps around us is matter, memory, gesture. It is a boundary and a refuge, surface and substance.
The Skin I Live In explores the dialogue between body and space, between fabric and form, between clothing and furnishings.
The Simposio sofa becomes the meeting point of this sensory narrative. A modular seating system that is not merely an object, but an experience: it welcomes, envelops, and invites conversation. Its sinuous, timeless lines evoke the flow of beauty, while the upholstery—devoid of excess, marked only by an essential fold—recalls the softness of a Greek peplos.
Against the backdrop of the artistic installation curated by Studiopepe, a scenic background tells the story of the chromatic harmony and emotional signature of the two brands.
Through a light touch, made of tailored embroidery and images created by illustrator Clorophilla, the intimacy of living takes shape, starting from the relationship with the first space we inhabit: our clothing.
Just as skin adapts to the body, House of Lyria fabrics engage in symbiosis with the surfaces of Simposio. Far from being a mere support, the sofa's foot imparts sensuality to the fabric, evoking the light weight of a presence.
Framing this exploration is the ALYSI Garden House, a setting designed to inspire, where Simposio finds a home that enhances its essence and communicative value.
The Skin I Live In is a symbolic space that generates new visions and celebrates feminine creativity.
